Steps concert will be on Sky Box Office

Posted on

On 31 October, the Manchester concert will shown on Sky Box Office. It costs £9.95 to pre-order events before the day, and costs £11.95 to watch on the day. On cable TV it is always £11.95, though these prices may change. As the Robbie Williams concert was also shown on the Sky website it is likely that the Steps concert will also be shown on the internet, although it will cost money. It may even be possible that the same concert will eventually be sold on video. More information as we get it.

The Sky Box Office concert will have a Halloween theme as previously stated. But interestingly, Ian is going to be a vampire! We can’t wait to see this show, it sounds fantastic and as for what costumes the rest of the guys will have on – only time will tell! This is all from the large spread in this month’s Sky TV guide. If you go into a satellite TV suppliers and ask really nicely they may let you buy one for £2.50.

Steps will be performing at the TV HITS 10th anniversary awards finale. Other artists attending the event are A1, 5ive and Vengaboys. Check back later today for more info and booking information so you can get the best seats.

Due to be released on 11 October 1999 (UK), the new Steps single is called After The Love Has Gone. More News when we receive it! The album Steptacular is also confirmed as being released on 25 October (UK). On Channel 4 on Monday 6 September from 6-6.30pm be sure to watch the program Andi Meets Steps. And if you want to set your videos the Video Plus number is 273. In the programme, Andi Peters travels to St Louis, Missouri, to catch up with Steps on their first US tour, supporting Britney Spears. The band talk about what life on the road is really like in Steps world, their plans for a new television series, and life beyond Steps. A television series? Now that sounds interesting!

Today on the POP-Zone on BBC Two, old clips of the group were shown from past programmes. The main clip was from an interview about Love’s Got A Hold On My Heart. But they also showed outtakes of the group including Faye telling H to shut up, H telling Faye to shut up and the whole group laughing as well as H getting his lines all mixed up. Good news GenSTEPS chat fans, the virtual chat room is back in business. There will be updates to the backgrounds in the future. Set chats will be announced through the mailing list.
