Steps have won nothing at this year’s Smash Hits Poll Winners party, which is very disappointing. They performed Tragedy. But Steps did appear lower in the orders in many of the polling sections.
The latest UK midweek chart suggests that Steps will still be inside the top 10 come the chart on Sunday. Heartbeat / Tragedy is at #8 according to Monday-Wednesday sales this week.
Steps continue their good run in the UK singles chart as Heartbeat / Tragedy has its fourth week in the top 10. Their album also says in the top 10 at number seven and their video is a new-entry at number eight.
Steps’ next UK single has a planned release date of 15 February 1999. It’s set to be “Better Best Forgotten”. When we’ve received confirmation we’ll pass it on to you.
