In todays UK charts, It’s The Way You Make Me Feel drops down to number 24 on the singles chart spending its sixth week on the chart. Buzz was a non-mover at number 25 in the albums chart spending its 15th week on the chart and in the music videos chart, the Live Wembley Video went back up one to number two. Thanks to Kody for this news! In the latest edition of FHM in Australia, it was reported that Buzz is due for release in mid-February in Australia, so as that is approaching we’ll try and keep an eye out on that.

I’m sure that a few of you are or have thought about if STEPS get any major US success Jive will ship them to Max Martin who has been behind the huge successes of Britney, Backstreet & *NSYNC? Well it seems that Max Martin is still busy, currently Britney is recording her forthcoming 3rd album with Max Martin at his new company Maratone. So it could still happen, and if It’s The Way You Make Me Feel does do well worldwide (Cheiron Produced) then who knows!

Off-topic here. It was announced on Yesterdays Popstars program that the group will be working with the collective producers known as Stargate. If you are unaware of who they are, they are the team behind the songs which sound like they’ve come from Max Martin and the Ex-Cherion crew crossed with Rodney Jerkins at times (a good example is the new Samantha Mumba song). As this group will be in direct competition with acts as STEPS, it would now be even better if STEPS do get more real Ex-Cherion producers (i.e.. A. Carlsson on Here & Now) as even if the music public can’t tell the differences the music industry insiders certainly do!
