Steps performed three songs: Love’s Got A Hold On My Heart, After The Love Has Gone and Tragedy. On two occasions, they also presented the awards with Lisa and Faye first time round, and Claire and H second time. Steps’ first award (and in fact the first award of the day) was for Best Song, which they won for Love’s Got A Hold On My Heart. They performed it right after receiving their award. Steps’ second award was for Best Live Act, and they followed it by performing After The Love Has Gone. The presenters then asked if we wanted to see another fantastic song. We all cheered and screamed yes, and we got to see Tragedy, which rocked the place, with everybody doing the moves! What a brilliant night for Steps and us fans. I was in row 23, and got to take a lot of pictures of the group getting awards, performing and even presenting. There were lots of pop groups, and some of my other favourites such as Vengaboys and Alice Deejay also performed. A very memorable and entertaining night to remember. Thanks for all those who voted for Steps, they were so happy receiving the awards.
