You may have been wondering why there are so many support acts on Steps’ tour. Well it’s because certain acts will only be joining them at certain venues. So far dates for Point Break and Marvin and Tamara have been released. Now if Fred and Roxy are playing at the others, mathematicians among you would have worked out that there’s one missing! Who could it be? Mero, or maybe even someone that Steps went on tour with, who is absolutely huge all round the world and said that she would like to go on tour with Steps? What’s her name again?

The CITV programme A Date With Steps is to be presented by popular Channel 5 presenter Josie d’Arby and T4 hunk Ben Shephard. The two have worked together before on the Bigger Breakfast making a great team, so expect this to be a rather cool programme. It’s nice to see that they are taking this series seriously by getting entertaining presenters for such a high-profile programme.

Steps will be performing tonight on the Pepsi Chart at 7.00pm on Channel 5 as well as presenting it, yay! And don’t forget to watch out for luscious Lisa on Never Mind The Buzzcocks tommorow night at 9.30pm on BBC Two. Fingers crossed she shows those lads what she’s made of!

Steps have been nominated for a TMF award (The Music Factory) in Belgium. This is like the Belgian version of MTV and is the most popular music awards show over there. They have been nominated for the best foreign pop group along with Boyzone and Dutch band Volumia. Because of Steps’ popularity in Belgium it is highly likely they will walk away with the award on 22 October when the show is aired live from Antwerp. Thanks to Sideris for this info.

The two members of Steps that will be presenting MTV Select on Monday from 4pm are H and Faye. Make sure you watch it as Steps are turning out to be as good on TV as they are at singing! Thanks to Donna for letting me know about this.
