Thanks to Matt for sending in this piece of radio news! Galaxy 105-106 has played Summer Of Love – this time as part of a Steps Pick’n’Mix – a selection of Steps dance mixes in one show. They played the W.I.P Mix of the track. They also played the Sleaze Sisters Anthem of Deeper Shade Of Blue as well as the W.I.P mix of Love’s Got A Hold On My Heart.

Also thanks to Jeremy for sending in this Top Of The Pops news! Last night they performed at the BBC studios (22 June). They did a live version of When I Said Goodbye, yep no miming at all! Later on they came back on stage and performed Summer Of Love.

After doing this they filmed an extra piece for what Lee said was “a new programme to be shown later this year, which Steps will be presenting and where different celebrities would perform the Tragedy routine”. This week was Gail Porter’s turn who was hopeless at it and Lisa and Lee had to repeatedly show her how to do it again and again.

Here’s some news that I forgot to add this morning – probably as The Box has updated the text in my area but not the videos, charts, Box Talk etc, they are so annoying sometimes!

Anyway, Summer Of Love entered Box Tops at number four this week, which means it was the fourth most-requested video across the UK Box last week. Also Steps have a Box Talk, if your area has been updated! Times are at 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm.
