Steps go back in time for ITWYMMF video
Steps’ video for their forthcoming single, The Way You Make Me Feel, takes the band on a journey back in time as they ditch their trademark skimpy outfits for elaborate period costume, worldpop can reveal.
Steps shot the video at Brocket Hall, often working up to 15 hours a day to complete the masterpiece, the follow up to last week’s No 1 single, Stomp.
Be prepared to see the Steps girls in their most revealing outfits to date, with plunging necklines, ornate corsets and more leg than KFC! The video’s elaborate theme meant Lisa had to spend three hours getting her hair done, with amazing results – look out for a do that covers one side of her face.
The Way You Make Me Feel is released in the UK in December, the second single from their forthcoming album, Buzz.
According to The Sun STEPS have brought forward their release of It’s The Way You Make Me Feel from December 18th to December 11th as NOT to clash with the new Westlife single and increasing the chance of hitting the top spot. A Steps insider has been quoted of saying “Steps wouldn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of beating Westlife to a Christmas No1, so they had little choice.”
Also thanks to Derek for pointing out that when you buy the new album Buzz on Monday it will have “UK Edition” on the spine of the album. This indicates that there seem to be more than one edition of the album for the rest of the world which increases speculation that the US edition (for example …. there will be other editions of course!) might be more different than just the removal of Better The Devil You Know which already appears on the first US album, Step One.
