After the recent events and their effect on the total world our competition will now launch this weekend. From Ananova: Steps, Hear’Say and Westlife at Disney Channel Awards Steps and Hear’Say are performing at this year’s Disney Channel Kids Awards. The show will also feature Atomic Kitten, Westlife and A1. It takes place at London Docklands Arena on September 22. Awards up for grabs on the day include Favourite Male Group, Favourite Female Group, Favourite TV Star and Favourite Soap. Disney Channel favourites Jemma James, Emma Lee, James McCourt and Nigel Mitchell will host the event. Smash Hits have e-mailed me to say the Steps members positions on their Sexiest Poll: After millions of votes were cast (no exaggeration!), I can tell you that Lee came 32nd, H came 16th, Faye came 7th and Lisa came 3rd.
