Steps in 2022

Next single is Here & Now / You’ll Be Sorry

Finally putting an end to the new single rumours, the PWL Website has announced that the new single from Steps will be Here & Now / You’ll Be Sorry. The single is a double A-side and will include a WIP Remix of You’ll Be Sorry. No news on a release date just yet. Personally I feel this is a great option, if the video is good enough it opens Here & Now for a worldwide release and with the inclusion of the great You’ll Be Sorry with the right promotion should become another chart-topper!

Thanks to Ian for telling us that Stomp has entered the Spanish charts at number 24, which he tells us is a high new-entry for a non-Spanish song! Buzz is out this week in Spain, so if you live there and you’re reading this go and get your copy now!

When rock music dominated our singles chart at the beginning of this year, people were saying that pop music is coming to an end. Then along popped Atomic Kitten who surprisingly stayed at number one for two weeks, and then three weeks and now the mid-week chart is suggesting that they could make a whole month on the top of the charts! Now those people who said pop was dead must be dreading they ever said such a thing! Our Single Of The Week is currently predicted to just hit the top 10.

News bits

Firstly as you know updates have been a little limited recently due to server issues, these should have been sorted out by now so if you know people who are moaning that we’ve not been updated then please tell them that we are back online now.

My Dutch isn’t that good but we believe that Stomp has entered the airplay chart at number 93 in the Netherlands, which is above new entries from other UK acts such as the All Saints. We’ll keep you updated on any movements in the charts across Europe when we receive information on them.
