Steps are in full swing for the promotion for Better Best Forgotten. It still has a release date of 22 February 1999, but this will probably change as 5ive, Boyzone, George Michael, Madonna and other major acts all release singles on this date. Catch Steps on many TV programmes over the next week: the National Lottery on 30 January, Planet Pop on 1 February, Live & Kicking on 6 February and This Morning on 8 February. Set your video recorders for a Steps explosion! Also to mention that in the recent Smash Hits, Better Best Forgotten was given a pop rating of 100%! That’s the highest rating I’ve ever seen Smash Hits award a song!

Good news, GenSTEPS has been linked by UK radio station Atlantic 252! It’s for their Brits Section. Also on the Brits website there is an online vote for the Best Newcomer. Steps are currently 4th with 9%. 5ive are winning with 40% – so please vote for Steps. Also if Radio 1 has released the telephone number for the best newcomer can someone e-mail it to me so I can post it here.
