He told Smash Hits he has already been approached to star in several productions. H says it was his childhood dream to take to the London stage. But he has reassured fans that the future of Steps is safe. He plans to work in the West End when Steps take a break next year. Lee Latchford Evans has also expressed an ambition to try his hand at acting “I’d like to make a major movie,” he said. “I ‘d love to do what Jennifer Lopez does – have a musical career and be an actor.” But Faye Tozer says she’s quite happy to continue songwriting. “I’m really enjoying writing. I find it difficult to write pop though – my stuff is more storytelling like David Gray,” she said.
