November was a very exciting month for Steps. We saw the opening of the new official site, the continuation of the Next Step arena tour, and Steps recorded their first US concert – with a live band! We also received news of the new single and saw Steptacular sell 600,000 copies in just five weeks!

But does it stop here? Not a chance. This coming Sunday sees Steps hosting the Smash Hits Poll Winners’ Party. did you vote for Steps? Last year Steps appeared in the top 10 of most awards, but usually down at number six. Hopefully this year we will see them winning awards as well as presenting them to other worthwhile acts.

13 December sees the release of Say You’ll Be Mine / Better The Devil You Know so make sure you grab your copy! As always GenSTEPS will be bring you the London chart so you can gauge how Steps will do and see if they can get that coveted UK Christmas number one. The UK tour continues until mid-December and more dates are bound to be added to the Steptacular Arena Tour 2000 in the near future.

If you were unlucky enough not to see the Next Step tour, and couldn’t catch it on Sky TV – then go get the video, it’s well worth the money! Also make sure you get your tickets for the new tour, it should be bigger and better with perhaps a live band (Steps please do this!)

I would also like to say thank you to everyone that visits GenSTEPS for still making us the most popular Steps website on the internet with over 130,000 hits in just four months. The hits still come despite the new official site, its very appreciated and let’s make December the most successful month yet!
