Looking at this Steps are only 1,764 copies behind the number two song, but Faithless are only 828 copies behind Steps. An event insider said: “They don’t fit in with what we want. We feel that Steps are past their sell-by date. “They were really keen to do it but the line-up is very strong and they are too poppy and lightweight.” Seems odd to say they’re too poppy for a show featuring Hear’Say and Ronan Keating.
