Firstly it seems that STEPS have pulled out of the Christmas race this year, and rightly too in my opinion. On tour it has been announced that the new single It’s The Way You Make Me Feel is now being released in January 2001 which has increased its chances of hitting the top spot buy loads so I wouldn’t bet against it becoming their 3rd UK number one!
Also on tour it seems that the other song to appear on the single is Claire’s solo on the tour titled “Tell Me Why”, the song was also written by Claire, if you are going on the tour you will be able to hear it, and is the new tour ripping off the fans? We are still getting mixed feelings on the tour, most people are enjoying it but are bemused by other happenings going on. There still hasn’t been an media review yet – it’ll be interesting to see what they make of it!

Talking about the new single, The Box inform me that the new video will be ready for selection from next week, you never know your luck it might pop up this week but they seem certain it will be next week.

“To be honest, I don’t know about Lee planning to move,” admits Steps’ spokesperson Peter Berry. “However, I’d be surprised if he has ever dated Erica in the first place. I’ve met Lee’s girlfriends over the years, and she wasn’t one of them.”

STEPS are also confirmed to be performing at this Years Smash Hits Poll Winners Party at the London Arena on December 10th. Hosted by Richard Blackwood and Katy Hill. Other acts confirmed are Britney Spears, Kylie, Westlife, Five, Billie, Ronan, Samantha Mumba, S Club 7, A1 and Texas.
