Lee ‘lost respect’ for H and Claire
Lee has had a bit of a rant about H and Claire in one of the newspapers.
“It seems ex-Steps star Lee Latchford Evans is either very thick or wrapped up in fluffy cotton wool. Apparently he’s only just realised his former pals, H and Claire, did the dirty on Lisa, Faye and him.
The singer-turned-reality-show star was furious when the pair decided they wanted the band to end so they could concentrate on a career together and believes they had it planned long before the group split.
He said: ‘We worked together very well, were successful and all loved it. That’s one of the reasons why we didn’t deserve to get stabbed in the back.
‘I know how long it takes to get a record deal and to produce songs and there is no way they could have left the band and been ready with an album and smiling on TV two months later. Obviously they were setting it up behind our backs, which made me lose all respect for them.’
