Last year YTV scored the first Canadian interview with Steps to show on their BRIT List special, and got exclusive permission to show three UK videos. This year YTV tried to get an interview, but Steps were out of the country – the band was in France promoting the new single. Fortunately YTV has again got EXCLUSIVE permission to show NEW Steps videos.

Steps Star H’s girlfriend Sarah has told close friends that she is fed up with the constant press speculation on H’s, real name Ian Watkins, sexuality. She says that she feels she can’t cope with constant pressure and
anguish of the rumours and it’s really starting to get to her. A friend of the couple said ” Sarah and Ian are in love, but unfortunately things aren’t going too well at the moment, there’s a lot of gossip and it’s really starting to get to Sarah, she’s still quite young and she’s taking it really badly, I’m sure they’ll get through this, it’s just a bad patch. It’s a real shame that just because Ian has a bubbly personality and is outgoing that he gets accusations thrown at him, the band are very popular with the gay community, but there is absolutely no truth in the rumours that he is gay. He is a very honest person and if he was gay he would have admitted so to his fans, as they are really important to him “. H and Sarah have been together since last year and he likes to keep her out of the public eye and keep their relationship as private as possible, Sarah is planning her own career in pop and hopes to have a record out by the end of the year.

“When I Said Goodbye” is the next single taken from Steptacular, which is scheduled for release on 25 July 2000. It will be a double A-side with a brand new song entitled “A Little More Time”.

According to Channel 4 Text, H walks about his home naked as he likes to feel free! Now Lee has been getting his clothes off for Cosmopolitan Magazine. Lee says: “I only agreed as it was tasteful”.

After Ellie Campbell and Buffalo G, we now have Northern Line confirmed as a support act for Steps on their up coming UK Arena Tour.
