In the new UK charts announced today Here & Now / You’ll Be Sorry moves up 11 places back up to number 49. I’ve not got the Indie chart positions yet, will add them to the chart pages as soon as I receive them.
This will please a few people I know. GenSTEPS 4 WILL be here next weekend. Most of the pages are now done, and I am currently cleaning up the HTML and finalising a few decisions that need to be made. You will all be happy to hear that the pictures section is fully operational and we’ve launched a couple of new sections. I have been thinking about GenSTEPS version 5. I currently have a date of early 2002 for the launch date but NOTHING has begun in development. If you have good knowledge of HTML or any other web programming language and want to be on the GenSTEPS 5 team then please contact me from now at [email protected] – also contact this address if you are good at graphics, i.e. can use Adobe Photoshop and create good results or if you look at this site and think “Hey, now that would look great!” but don’t have the time to create your own site. Please send e-mails to the above address and I will get back to you. The development of GenSTEPS 5 is expected to start in September. – If you currently help GenSTEPS in any way – no I’m not getting rid of any of you so don’t panic :o)

Late last night we stumbled across Chain Reaction! For those interested it was around 11.45pm. Like we did for Mars & Venus we are offering it to download for a few days in less than 1/2 CD quality so that more people can hear it – and then go buy the single next month! Well no because I firstly don’t want to get in trouble with the people behind Steps and also because not everyone will buy the single when it is released if they have the MP3 and reducing the chances of Steps going to number one – and I don’t want to be involved with that. Yes the file probably is all over the Internet but you will have to look for it in the usual places for it, I just don’t want GenSTEPS to become the hub for piracy of Steps audio tracks.
