It’s been reported that the future of Steps is uncertain as Faye Tozer is considering leaving the band.

Faye made comments back in April that suggested she might quite like to launch a solo career and apparently the other members, Claire, Lisa, H and Lee, persuaded her to stay and continue performing but this was only a temporary agreement.

A friend of Tozer’s has said: “Faye’s a very ambitious young lady and Steps is not something she wants to do. It got her noticed but she wants to have a solo career.”

If the blonde singer does decide to quit, the survival of Steps will be put in jeopardy. The friend continued: “It could be the end of them and the rest of Steps are well aware of this.”

There is some speculation that the star wants to work with her Jasper her Dutch fiancé.
