The Daily Mirror is reporting that Sony have withdrawn their offer to release a Steps album featuring new material. The band are now rumoured to be in talks with Universal to get an album ready to coincide with the Ultimate Tour.

The Mirror also confirms that Steps are recording the second series of their Sky Living show Steps Reunion, which will follow the band as they prepare for their tour.
