WorldPop has just sent me an email with updates to the Steps section on their site, I have no idea how new these additions are but here they are anyway. They say they have full text interviews with H, Claire, Lisa, Lee and Faye, a backstage video tour with support act Boom! and reactions from fans who’ve seen the show and met the band! Today, Chris Tarrant announced another 10 acts for Party In The Park 2000 on London’s Capital FM. Among the new acts is STEPS – so if you were one of the lucky 100,000 people to get tickets for the event (which sold out in seven hours) you will get to see Steps on 9 July in Hyde Park. T4 on Channel 4 is believed to be showing the event, but at this moment I am unaware if it is just extended highlights or the entire show.

Summer Of Love was played on BBC Radio 2 this afternoon. It didn’t go down too well by all accounts but as hardly any of the Steps-buying public probably listens to Radio 2 then it probably will have little effect.
