Tragedy matches 5, 6, 7, 8 chart run
Heartbeat / Tragedy continues its drop down the UK’s top 75. It has now spent 17 weeks in the top 75, which equals their longest-running single in the UK chart – 5, 6, 7, 8 – which spent 17 weeks in the top 75. Tragedy is now the biggest-selling song written by the Bee Gees, and just in case you didn’t know 5, 6, 7, 8 is the biggest-selling single in the 90s not to enter the top 10.
Better Best Forgotten is released today along with other big acts like the Manics (again). We’ll see if it goes straight to number one, but it’s a sure top five hit.
Here’s some information supplied by Daniel: “Here in the UK, Steps’ next release after Better Best Forgotten is to be the solo track by H called “Hero”.
