GenSTEPS will be receiving a copy of the PWL remix of Summer Of Love shortly, which shows that the promo for the new song is out there! We’ve still yet to get a copy of the original but the remix will do for now. You should get requesting to your local radio stations to hear the song right now as they should have a copy now or very shortly.

Unfortunately we cannot bring you this remix due to restrictions in place from PWL. We have tried getting around this by talking to Jive Records but we’re not having much luck, but one little thing that could be on our side is that Jive Records don’t seem to have a major problem with our previous audio / video situation.

Steps star H will be drawing the crowds into the capital on Saturday 10 June when he unveils London’s new Millennium Bridge in aid of Save The Children. The hard-working pop star will make an 8.45am appearance for a photocall at London’s first new crossing over the Thames since Tower Bridge opened more than 100 years ago. H explained his decision to support the charity: ‘With the rest of Steps I’ve traveled to loads of different countries and I knew the challenges faced by some kids if tough situations. Save The Children really does make the difference.’ Those wishing to help raise funds for the charity can take part in a 10 mile sponsored walk following the grand opening. Entrants can register on the day at the Events Centre outside the Tate Gallery. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Steps fans should note that H is not expected to join the walkers but worldpop will let him off – he’ll be preserving all his energy for Steps’ worldpop sponsored sell-out Wembley gig later that night.

The One & Only… Steps will be aired on 1 July or 2 July on Sky One. If its not on 1 July, that’ll be the 5ive one and the other one will be Steps.
