As reported by Channel 4 Text, 5ive seem to be slamming into our Lee because they said that he’s been dissing them behind their backs in interviews and stuff. Also… they’re going to get him when they see Lee next… which will probably be tonight at the Brits 2000.

Also it seems that Lee isn’t the only one with security tonight. From Dotmusic:

Steps girls Lisa, Faye and Claire are expected to appear at the Brits tonight wearing outfits encrusted with diamonds worth more than £1 million,
according to tabloid reports. The girls will not be performing at the event, but alongside the other two members H and Lee, will be presented with a special award for their massive domestic sales.

According to the Sun, the girls and their jewels will be under protection by security guards all night, with a spokesman for the band apparently insisting: “The only time they’ll be on their own is when they go to the loo.”

As previously reported, Steps won the Brits 2000 award for the Best Live Act, a new award given to Steps who played to over 350,000 people on their Next Step Arena Tour. If this award is continued to next year they are sure to win it again with a current 25-date Steptacular arena tour planned for May and June. Unfortunately though, Steps didn’t win the award for the Best Pop Group, this went to 5ive – as this award was voted for by the public they probably won due to having the slightly larger voting fanbase, even though Steps’ sales out-strip 5ive’s easily. Well, there is always next year I guess
