Former Steps stars Claire and H are taking over from James Redmond as hosts of SM:tv Live. The duo will present the show with Brian Dowling and Tess Daly. They have also recently signed a £4 million deal with WEA records.
Claire told The Mirror: “I’m really excited, It’s a dream come true.”
Conor McAnally, director of entertainment programming at Blaze Television who make the show, added: “H and Claire have been SM:tv regulars for years and are extremely popular with viewers. “They have a great sense of humour and really enjoy what they do. They are the perfect choice to join the SM:tv team and continue our success story.” H and Claire are due to release DJ, their first single as a duo, on 11 May.

Here’s some great news for all you SM:tv Live fans out there: H and Claire are to become the new presenters of the show. They’ll be working alongside Tess Daly and Brian Dowling as from next month.

Both feel honoured to be asked to take on the role and are very excited (as you can imagine!) about this new development in their career as a pop-duo. They can’t wait to get back into the SM:tv studios and get started as they have loads of ideas for the show. We’ll have more info for you soon.
